I am a fine-art/commercial photographer, artist and print-maker, based in Chester. I have over nineteen years experience of working in television and the performing arts, with disability and community arts organisations, for advertising and marketing companies, and for local government. The prints featured on this site are arts-based and include both personal and commissioned work. Many of my images are derived from personal interests, such as archaeology, landscape, architecture, natural science, folklore and mythology. I use traditional, digital and alternative processes to achieve the final results. As an experienced photographic print-maker, all my exhibition work is hand-printed and toned to archival standards. Between 2004 and 2006, I worked as project photographer for the Chester Amphitheatre Project, and am currently embarking on a new body of work, based around Beeston Castle and other historic sites within Cheshire, the North West and North Wales. I am a co-founder and steering-group member of Cheshire Artists Network (CAN) and am also a steering-group member of Cheshire Open Studios. I also exhibit extensively, both nationally and internationally. I recently helped found the arts collective, CHART, which is a group of nine professional contemporary artists from the Chester area.
